How to use
Data sources
Tap the app title anytime to change this. Places from every selected collection are merged into one list, and done checkmarks are shared across them.
Cities
- Tap the active city to pin it to the front.
- Cities with fewer than 5 places are in “More”.
- “No location” has posts we couldn’t place — use Search to look them up.
Map
- Map dots are color-coded by group.
- Pinch-zoom on the map.
- Tap 🎯 (top-right of map) to show your location.
- A numbered dot means several places share one pin — tap it and swipe to flip through them.
- Translucent circles show places in a general location, and what’s there: ⅔ red + ⅓ purple means 2 food, 1 activity.
Filter By Item type
- Filter by ☕️ Coffee · 🥢 Food · 🎟️ Activities · 👀 Sights · 🎲 Other · 🔍 Misc
- Tap groups to add/remove from view.
- Tap “All” to reset the filter.
Filter By Todo / Done & Search
- Search filters names, blurbs, and metro stations in the current city.
Useful Info
- Tap any Chinese text to copy it — handy for pasting into Amap or WeChat.
- “approx 📍” means the pin isn’t exact — use each item’s link back to the Instagram source, Amap, and Search to find the real spot.
- 🚇 shows the nearest metro.
- 🔄 top-right to refresh and get the latest changes.
- For the best experience: open in Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen.
